Individual Artist Commission for creation of "The Herpes Play" - Decentralization Program

I am so excited to announce that I've been awarded an Individual Artist Commission by the CnY Arts Decentralization Program to write and create The Herpes Play, an original piece I am working on which explores our world's simultaneously tragic and at times flat out comedic overdramatization of this virus. Beginning to create this play has been such an empowering and life changing part of processing my HSV positivity and I'm so thrilled to be able to open this conversation more widely through this piece. Let's disrupt this damaging and unnecessary cultural narrative, shall we?? 🌻
