1918 : An Immersive Theatrical Event at the Cayuga Museum of History and Art

Breadcrumbs Productions premiered a new immersive dance-theatre piece at the Cayuga Museum of History and Art this month to celebrate the opening of their upcoming exhibit on the year 1918. I was thrilled to collaborate with artistic director Tanner Efinger to choreograph and co-direct this exploration of one of the darkest years in World History. Between WW1, the women's suffrage movement, the Sedition Act, and the Spanish Influenza, America was on the verge of massive change. The piece follows four nurses as they navigate personal, political, and societal issues, all while fighting merely to survive this dangerous time. Check out our promotional trailer, some performance footage, and a gallery of photos from the event!
